Sunday Funday!

The most yummest cutest cookie!!
I wanted all of them...

I have been into natural/organic things because they are so refreshing and obviously better for you. I found a local farmers market where they not only sell food but also bath and body products. They had so many things to get but I chose to try the bar of soap and I absolutely loved it! Now I'm hoping to go back and get some lotions!

I stopped by Nordstrom to buy these neat hair ties! I like to work out but one thing I don't like is when I put my hair up and basically have to keep my hair up all day so you won't see the big crease in it but these prevent that! They are the neatest thing! They were only $6!

And once again, can't forget my sister kitty Nala! [Next time I'll post a picture of my precious kitty!]

Until I see you again

On July 5th my precious aunt passed away from ovarian cancer. She was batteling ovarian cancer for 7 years but the cancer started getting worse.

My aunt was such a strong fighter. Everytime they told her she had to go back for kemo she never complained. She never showed us her pain or hurt, she was strong. She got diagnosed in February 2006. She had been doing fine and there wasn't any signs until it was already at a stage 3. They call this cancer, "The silent killer" because there is no way to catch it at an early stage. When women find out they have it it's already too late. There's no test you can take to catch it early which needs to change.
How to help break the silence: For the past two years my family and I have been participating in the NOCC (nation ovarian cancer coalition) walk. They hold a 5k every year and they're starting to have more and more available (keep an eye out for one around you). The motto for the walk is to "Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer" so find a walk near you, participate and walk to break this silence. We are in need of a test out there!
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

4th of July wreath

Happy (almost) 4th of July everyone!! :) To get in the 4th spirit my mom and I decided to make a wreath. It wasn't as hard as you think but it was a tad time consuming.

Ingredients:
- Wreath
- Tool
- Ribbon
- Glue Gun
- Twisties/Pipe Cleaners
- Any other add-ons :)

Now since we used a branch/twig wreath it made it easier to use the twisties (or pipe cleaners)! All we did was gather the tool then tide it to the wreath! And we did the same with the red/white/blue ribbon!

Then came our add-ons, we bought red, white, and blue stars and luckily the sticks were wire so we were able to tie them around the wreath as well! We did have to hot glue the flag to the wreath since it was a stick.

Drum roll......Ta-Da!! :) This is the first wreath we made so hopefully we'll make more! :) I hope everyone is safe and enjoys this awesome holiday!
