Until I see you again

On July 5th my precious aunt passed away from ovarian cancer. She was batteling ovarian cancer for 7 years but the cancer started getting worse.

My aunt was such a strong fighter. Everytime they told her she had to go back for kemo she never complained. She never showed us her pain or hurt, she was strong. She got diagnosed in February 2006. She had been doing fine and there wasn't any signs until it was already at a stage 3. They call this cancer, "The silent killer" because there is no way to catch it at an early stage. When women find out they have it it's already too late. There's no test you can take to catch it early which needs to change.
How to help break the silence: For the past two years my family and I have been participating in the NOCC (nation ovarian cancer coalition) walk. They hold a 5k every year and they're starting to have more and more available (keep an eye out for one around you). The motto for the walk is to "Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer" so find a walk near you, participate and walk to break this silence. We are in need of a test out there!
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
