"The More That You Read..."

While in college, I hear almost everyday from my professors, "Make sure you read!"
So finally, I decided to do it and you know what? It hasn't been too bad! I've surprisingly read 2 books in a matter of 3 weeks...that is honestly a record for me! [Now I'm reading my third book.]

The books I've read [so far] this summer:
◇ 1st was "Chasing Harry Winston" written by Lauren Weisberger, the author of "Devil Wears Prada". [Which I'm sure you know was made into a movie with Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep.]
◇ 2nd was "Sumer at Tiffany"[in my picture below] by Marjorie Hart. This one has probably been my favorite out of the 2. It's a memoir and is such a cute book!
◇ 3rd is, "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. I loved the movie so I'm excited to see if the book is going to have any more details!
[I was a little excited with all the Tiffany blue around me while reading my book...how much Tiffany blue do you see!? hehe]

Bracelet I Bought On The 4th

I am so excited to share with y'all this bracelet I talked about in my last post.
I've seen this bracelet before but couldn't find a store that carried one close to me until I went to a small town a couple of hours from where I live.
I'm not sure of the brand since the boutique just had the price on a small tag. But what you do is buy the leather band that comes in different colors (I purchased the brown). Then, on the band, there's little clasps where you can hook a metal square with a quote on them. This is all made by the same brand so the square fits perfect. They also sell little charms you can buy to place on one of the clasps to give your bracelet a little charm feel.
I loved this quote. The way I interpreted it: you sing and have joy even though life may be getting tough because you know everything is going to be ok.

Today, I purchased these cute earrings at a little market place they have once a month! So excited to wear them.

It was a good 4th...

This 4th was a a cute one. I spent it with my family in a small town a couple hours from where we live. Small towns are the best. You can feel the difference from a big crowded city.
To signal the start of the parade, they flew planes over us! The planes weren't the new kind, they looked like the old combat type that didn't go too fast...even cooler, especially in a small town!
The parade was the cutest! Filled with tractors, horses and old cars!
On our way home, I snapped a picture (from the passenger side) of our view down a very winding road! Such a beautiful site of the hills.
And of course, finished the night with watching fireworks!
In the small town we stopped inside a winery. I'm a huge country fan and to find out that Miranda Lambert has wine...I freaked out! They had different types all named by some of songs like "Kerosene". (I bought the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" wine because it was a little sweeter.) How neat right!?
I also bought the cutest bracelet that I'll have to show y'all in my next post because I'm laying in my comfy bed not wanting to get up to take the picture ha. Forgive me! But hey, I'm honest right? And that just means you'll have to come back to check it out hehe ;)

I hope y'all had a fun and safe 4th! :)
